Privacy Policy
How namoclaw collects, uses and shares information.
Last updated: July 4, 2026
Important: namoclaw is an experimental, personal, hobby project. Your prompts and requests are relayed to third-party AI platforms such as OpenRouter, SiliconFlow and similar providers through the operator's personal accounts. Once data leaves this site it is governed by those providers' own privacy policies, which the operator does not control. Please do not submit sensitive, confidential or personal information you are not comfortable sharing with third parties.
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information namoclaw (the "Service") handles and how it is used. The Service is a personal, non-commercial, best-effort project offered "as is," with no guarantee of availability, stability or data retention. It may change or shut down at any time, and stored data may be lost.
2. Information we collect
The Service may process the following, depending on which features you use:
- Account information — if registration is enabled, basic details such as an email address and credentials needed to sign in.
- Prompts and content — the text and inputs you submit to the chat playground, Text Generator and other AI features, together with the generated output.
- Technical data — standard request metadata such as IP address, browser type and timestamps, used to operate and protect the Service.
- Contact messages — anything you send through the contact form.
3. How we use information
Information is used only to:
- Provide, operate and maintain the Service's features;
- Relay your requests to the underlying third-party model providers;
- Prevent abuse, debug issues and improve the experimental features;
- Respond to messages you send.
4. Third-party AI providers
This is the most important thing to understand: the Service does not run its own AI models. When you use an AI feature, your input is transmitted to third-party inference platforms — including but not limited to OpenRouter and SiliconFlow — via the operator's personal API accounts. Those providers receive your prompts and process them under their own privacy policies and data-retention practices, which the operator neither sets nor controls. You should review the policies of those providers, and avoid submitting information you would not want them to process.
5. Other third-party services
The Service may also rely on third parties for hosting, storage and basic analytics. These providers process data only as needed to deliver their function. The Service does not sell your personal information.
6. Data retention
Because this is an experimental project, data retention is best-effort and not guaranteed. Content may be stored to power features (for example, generation history) or may be deleted, lost or reset at any time. Do not treat the Service as a durable store for anything important.
7. Security
Reasonable, informal measures are used to protect data, but no method of transmission or storage is fully secure. Given the experimental, personal nature of the Service, no guarantee of security can be made. Use it accordingly.
8. Your choices
You can choose not to use the Service, or to submit only non-sensitive information. If accounts are enabled, you may request deletion of your account by contacting the operator, subject to what is technically feasible for a personal project.
9. Children
The Service is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under the age required by their local law to consent to data processing.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated at any time. Changes take effect once posted on this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
11. Contact
